Elon Musk’s 26-year-old baby mama says she had to sell her Tesla after child support cuts.
Ashley St. Clair, the reported mother of Musk’s 13th child, accused Musk of withholding ‘substantial’ financial support for their alleged son after she sued for sole custody.
In a video posted by the Daily Mail, the MAGA influencer is seen selling what she says was a $100,000 Tesla. “I need to make up for the 60 percent cut that Elon made to our son’s child support,” St. Clair said.
St. Clair’s first announcement with Musk was back in February announcing on his social platform X that she had given birth to their son, R.S.C., in September 2024. She and the Tesla CEO began seeing each other around May 2023 and conceived the child in January 2024.

According to the influencer, Musk never acknowledged her claims publicly or responded to her messages privately – until she filed for sole custody. In response, the world’s richest man ‘financially retaliated’ and cut off his child support payments.
Come Monday, Musk broke his silence and cleared up the baby daddy rumours on X: “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed.
“Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”
St. Clair also shared alleged messages from the tech mogul, including ones that read: “I want to knock you up again” and “Well, we do have a legion of kids to make.”
In her legal filing, St. Clair said Musk didn’t show up for the birth and has ‘met him only three times and has had no involvement in his care and upbringing.’

When asked how she views Musk’s actions, she replied: “You can check the stocks. I’m not the only one who is cleaning up his messes.”
Musk has been pretty vocal about growing his family, saying: “If people don’t have more children, civilisation is going to crumble,” and even offered his sperm to populate Mars.
As of current, Musk has a total of 14 children with four women. He shares six children with his first wife, Justine Musk, three with singer Grimes, and four with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. R.S.C. would be his 13th biological child if paternity is confirmed. That said, the South African billionaire seems to show a pattern of favouritism among his children, from being estranged from one daughter to proudly showing off another in the Oval Office.
St. Clair’s lawyers wrote on the back of Musk’s ambiguity: “Given that Mr. Musk is dedicated to transparency in government, it would be helpful if he administered his own life by the same principles.”

The ever-complicated family tree of Elon Musk is only getting more confusing, with MAGA influencer Ashley St. Clair shocking the world on Valentine’s Day when she claimed she’d secretly given birth to his 13th child.
Elon Musk has spoken about falling birth rates and how it’s our duty to keep the human race alive, even offering his sperm to help populate his planned colony on Mars. His father has also got in on it, saying any woman offered a chance to sleep with Elon would be ‘mad’ to turn him down.
Taking this in his stride, Musk has been siring children since his late son was born in 2002.
More recently, St. Clair shocked the world when she alleged that she’d given birth to a son in 2024 but was told to keep it a secret. It’s said that she broke the news over frustration that the tech billionaire ‘ghosted’ her on Valentine’s Day.
Musk has kept a low profile aside from writing ‘whoa’ to someone else’s post about St. Clair trying to ‘trap’ him, but posting on X, he’s now claiming he’s paid her $2.5 million despite now knowing if the child is his.

Elon Musk said he won’t be taking a paternity test but went on to say he’ll support St. Clair with $500k every year. It didn’t take long for St. Clair to clap back, saying that the world’s richest man even chose to name the boy.
A vexed St Clair continued: “You weren’t sending *me* money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary… until you withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for “disobedience.” But you’re really only punishing your son.”
She concluded: “America needs you to grow up, you petulant man-child.”
All of this comes in response to a video of St. Clair selling her Tesla Model S, which was apparently a gift from Musk.
Speaking to paparazzi as the car was being taken away, St. Clair said: “I’m selling it because I need to make up for the 60% cut that Elon made to our son’s child support.”
When asked if Musk was being ‘vindictive’, she told the press: “Well, that’s his modus operandi, when women speak out.”
She then took aim at the recent Tesla dramas and sniped: “You can check the stocks, I’m not the only one who is cleaning up after his messes.”
Even if Musk isn’t willing to take a paternity test, it’s true that photographs prove he and St. Clair had met previously, with her story also matching up with various timelines of Musk’s whereabouts. Previous court documents reveal that St. Clair was suing for sole custody and was demanding a paternity test.
We’ve heard a lot from estranged daughter Vivian Wilson, while there are accusations that he has a clear ‘favorite’ as he parades X around the Oval office. However, he might’ve recently added two more to the brood.
Alongside St. Clair’s claims, Musk looked like he quickly tried to brush this under the carpet when Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis announced they’d had another child together. Much like Musk’s beef with his daughter, it looks like St. Clair is another one handing in their membership to the Elon Musk Fan Club.

The private life of Elon Musk is once again splashed all over the front page, with details surrounding the supposed conception of his alleged 13th child being revealed in new court documents.
The world’s richest man had previously spoken about how we should be having more children, saying we need to keep populating otherwise ‘civilization will crumble’.
Musk has officially fathered 13 children, and now, the parentage of a potential 14th child is being called into question too.
Before former Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis announced she’d had another child with Elon Musk, there was a sensationalist reveal from MAGA influencer Ashley St. Clair, claiming she’d secretly given birth to his 13th child some five months before.
Parts of St. Clair’s timeline seem to match up after she was snapped with the tech mogul, while she’s since leaked apparent DMs between the pair.

Musk has largely stayed quiet about the allegations, while things have already progressed to the courts as St. Clair asks for sole custody of the young boy (referred to as R.S.C).
St. Clair has filed a petition with the Supreme Court, asking for Musk to take a paternity test. She alleges that she and Musk engaged in sexual intercourse in St. Barts, a few days after New Year’s Eve, stating it was the “time our child was conceived.”
It’s true that the billionaire had been in St. Barts around there that time while celebrating with his son X Æ A-Xii (known as X). St. Clair claims that she was on the trip and no other man fits the window of conception: “I did not have sexual intercourse with any other male during the time the child was conceived.
“I am requesting an order for genetic testing to determine the paternity of the child.”
As reported by the New York Post, the filing includes a photograph of Musk holding a young child, as well as ‘flirtatious texts’ allegedly between the pair.
The texts also include a heated exchange where St. Clair seemingly acknowledged Musk’s fears of death threats made against him but complained about him not being involved with the child: “That’s why the father spot on his birth certificate is blank right now, E. And why he has my last name.”
The person alleged to be Musk responds: “Necessary for now. Only the paranoid survive. The threat level will reach insane levels until the election is decided. Loose lips sink ships.”
Musk is later accused of messaging: “I want to knock you up again.”
The lawsuit maintains that Musk agreed to take a paternity test within six months of the child’s birth, and if he’s confirmed as the father, St. Clair will change her son’s last name to Musk. She has sued for sole custody of the child and says that Musk has had no involvement in his upbringing.
With news about Musk potentially becoming a father for the 13th and 14th time in just a matter of weeks, those rumors that he’s offered his sperm to ‘seed’ a Martian colony are already rearing their head again.

There’s more drama for Tesla, as the electric vehicle brand has just had its revenue surpassed by an unlikely competitor. While Tesla CEO Elon Musk remains committed to powering forward as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency, there are growing complaints about this position of power within the government and his role as the ‘face’ of the electric vehicle brand.
With Elon Musk‘s DOGE making sweeping cuts to the federal spend and gutting whole departments, there have been vocal protests, damage to Teslas and chargers, and even shots fired at dealerships.
Despite President Donald Trump turning the front of the White House into his own Tesla dealership, that hasn’t stopped stocks from taking a major hit in recent months.
In contrast, BYD has just revealed its financials and confirmed that not only has it been selling more cars than Tesla, but it made $170 billion in revenue in 2024. This leapfrogs analyst predictions that Tesla made $155.5 billion in the same period.
BYD has more reason to celebrate, with it reporting a 73% soar in Q4 profits – totalling $3.3 billion. In general, BYD’s Hong Kong-listed shares have climbed 50% since the start of 2025 and hit a record high in March.

As reported by the Australian Broadcast Corporation, the Chinese automobile maker is destined to dominate the EV industry. Its overseas sales skyrocketed by 72% in 2024 and now account for 10% of its overall sales outside of China. Part of this push involved plans to open a third European plant, with this one scheduled to find a new home in Germany.
If that wasn’t enough, it’s thought the unveiling of a new super-charging feature could leave Tesla in the dust.
The financials mention this new charging tech that can apparently fully power an EV with enough range to travel 400 kilometers in record time. BYD claims it can achieve this in just five minutes via the Super e-Platform and its peak charging speeds of 1,000 kilowatts.
If achievable, this would be up to twice as quick as Tesla’s superchargers that are currently the fastest on the market.
According to Griffith University’s Graeme Hughes, Tesla’s loss is BYD’s gain: “Elon Musk’s star power had originally helped with Tesla sales. The UK market alone has dropped 45 per cent in the last month, people are concerned not only by what [Elon Musk] is doing but what [his actions] means about them.”
Even if Tesla has been taking its foot off the gas, Hughes admits that things have been moving quicker than expected: “The evolution has happened quite rapidly so they’ve been investing a significant amount of money back into their platforms.
“It’s [EVs] becoming a robust ecosystem, we have substantial players in the market. Both historical gasoline players and the new evolution of the Teslas and the BYDs. We’re going to see further growth in this space over the next 10 years in particular.”
BYD seems equally confident for the future, with founder Wang Chuanfu saying the Super e-Platform has been developed to ease charging anxiety: “We have been pursuing a goal to make the charging time of electric vehicles as short as the refuelling time of petrol vehicles.”
The new tech will only be available on two BYD models that will be sold from April, while 4,000 chargers will be rolled out across China. Previously, BYD owners have had to use third-party chargers to give their vehicles juice.
Seth Goldstein, chief financial analyst at Morningstar, warned that others should be taking note of BYD, concluding: “Tesla and BYD competitors should either be working on their own solution to offer a charge below 10 minutes or look to license the technology from BYD.”

Tesla is missing a whopping $1,400,000,000 from its books and experts don’t know where it went.
The electric car maker has been under fire recently with one of Tesla’s earliest investors, Ross Gerber, urging CEO Elon Musk to step down. He classed the tech billionaire as too ‘distracted’ and warned that the company was turning into a political symbol as a result of his heavy political involvement.
“I think Tesla needs a new CEO and I decided today I was going to start saying it and so this is the first show that I’m saying it on,” Gerber said. “It’s time for somebody to run Tesla. The business has been neglected for too long.”
Tesla’s share value has also dropped over 37% to date, a downward spiral that’s wiped out over $800 billion in value since December 2024.
Now, as per a recent Financial Times report, there’s $1.4 billion that seems to have gone missing from Tesla’s financial records.

According to its cashflow statements, the firm spent $6.3 billion on ‘purchases of property and equipment excluding finance leases, net of sales’ in the second half of 2024. But when you look at the company’s balance sheet, the total value of those assets only went up by $4.9 billion.
So, where did the other $1.4 billion go?
Well, it’s possible there could be some technical reasons behind the mystery.
Wharton School professor of accounting Luzi Hail said the company could’ve ‘sold off some [property, plant, and equipment], and we do not know what the net book value (the respective gross amounts) were.’
The difference could also be down to ‘mergers and acquisitions transactions and foreign currency transactions,’ added Hail.
What makes this more suspicious is that nothing like this has popped up in Tesla’s records over the last five years. The only likely way it would have been missed would be down to a huge accounting error.

At the same time, Tesla has been raising loads of money through new debt, which suggests that the company is still betting on big things to come.
But given the recent protests, vandalism, and growing tension around the brand, that optimism might be tested sooner than expected.
Meanwhile, Musk hasn’t done himself any favours. In a recent moment of corporate irony, the head of DOGE demanded government workers send him a summary of their weekly tasks or risk being fired.
And, earlier this month, layoffs were made at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention ordered by the Trump administration. But just days later, 180 former employees were shocked to receive an email informing them to return to work.
