Jamie Lynn Spears recently gushed over her 16-year-old daughter Maddie, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Casey Aldridge, going to her junior prom.
Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter Maddie has hit another milestone.
The 16-year-old—who Jamie Lynn, 33, shares with ex-fiancé Casey Aldridge—recently went to her high school prom, and the Zoey 101 star offered a glimpse into her daughter’s special night.
In a March 31 Instagram post, the actor shared several photos of Maddie dressed to the lilac nines. Her daughter wore a beaded pastel purple gown and metallic heels, which complimented her corsage of the same hue. To top off her soft glam, Maddie also styled her hair in a half-updo.
After including numerous shots of Maddie hanging out with her date and a few friends, Jamie Lynn and her husband Jamie Watson, 42, also posed with her. Their 6-year-old daughter Ivey—who looks just like her aunt Britney Spears—later joined in on the fun, and was all-smiles as she proudly held her big sister’s bouquet.

This isn’t the first time the Nickelodeon alum has shown her oldest daughter dressed to impress, as she shared a look at Maddie’s pastel pink gown she wore to her homecoming last September.
And when Jamie Lynn isn’t celebrating her daughter’s junior year activities, she’s gushing over her next major milestone: going off to college. In a sweet Instagram tribute from last November, the mother of two revealed that Maddie will attend University of Southern Mississippi in 2026.
“I feel like I can’t take much credit for anything,” she wrote of her daughter’s special decision at the time. “I have witnessed this kid go through, face, & overcome some impossible things by her own strong will, convictions, determination, & the sheer grace of God.”

After giving Maddie her flowers, the Sweet Magnolias actor also reflected on her own journey to motherhood.
“I did everything I could to better myself in order to be the mama she deserved,” she continued, adding that dedication included breaking “generational curses” that could’ve potentially limit Maddie’s future. “I think her story is a true testament to trusting God’s will & being able to achieve whatever you’re willing to work hard for.”
