EXCLUSIVE: The fan favourite bride spills on her post-show plans.
As this year’s season of Married At First Sight comes to an end, many participants have already started reaping the benefits of their newfound fame. Whether they’re promoting products on social media or selling personalised video messages on Cameo, it’s clear that the season 12 cast aren’t ashamed to make a quick buck online.
One person who won’t be taking this route post-show, however, is Jamie Marinos. While her ‘husband’ Dave Thomas Hand is currently charging fans $72 for a minute-long video on Cameo, Jamie tells Yahoo Lifestyle she won’t be joining the platform as it “doesn’t align with [her] personal brand”.
“I know a lot of people love to pop their p**sy for attention, it’s just not my thing. I said this to Dave. I said, ‘Cameo, trust me, it’s not gonna look good. Just don’t do it’,” she remarks.

“I said this to a few people, ‘You don’t need to promote a foam party, let’s just wait. Humble yourself, like we haven’t even aired yet. You’re not even on 100k followers, like come on guys. You don’t need to go rogue’. But it’s just like, yeah, popping their p**sies everywhere. I’m just not that type of person.”
Dave certainly isn’t the only MAFS 2025 star on Cameo, with Billy Belcher charging $56, Clint Rice charging $16, and Jacqui Burfoot charging $113 – which has jumped up from her initial fee of $32 after receiving an influx of requests.
Jamie spills on post-show plans
Jamie, who currently has the most followers out of everyone in the cast, went on to say that she is “more focused on things that feel authentic to [her]”.
“I’m going to be saying ‘no’ to a lot more things I’m going to say ‘yes’ to, that’s just how I operate,” she says about her post-show career plans. “Personal brand is very important to me. I’m almost 30, I’m going to be focusing on a more mature era, building a community, and again, I don’t want to sign my name to anything I wouldn’t back.
“I think obviously, being on a show like this, it does bring out people that obviously want to do the hustle and want to make the money. I think Billy did a beef jerky collaboration, you know what I mean? These people will just do anything!”
Josie Gagliano, director of Sydney talent and PR agency RoJo Consulting, recently told Yahoo Lifestyle that she believes Jamie has the best chance out of everyone in the cast to maintain a following after the show.
“I think Jamie will do well after the show because she is outspoken and has worn her heart on her sleeve,” she shared. However, she asserted that large social media followings don’t always translate to a successful career in the media industry.
“Social media followers can build, but if you are not authentic and have a habit of being controversial or just plain nasty, nobody is buying what you are selling,” she added. “Consumers do not forget and will vote with their money.”
Jamie spotted working at celebrity hotspot in Melbourne
While she’s been dubbed an “account manager” on the show, Jamie was recently spotted working at the trendy Melbourne nightclub The Emerson.
An onlooker recently told Yahoo Lifestyle: “I think Jamie is doing account and PR stuff in the back office for the club, but when I saw her she came out a few times and was being like a bottle girl. I’m sure her sister [Georgia] works there too.”
According to Jamie’s LinkedIn, she left her role as an account manager at digital marketing agency First Page in December after 19 months and is yet to update her new role.
